Finnish Coursing Championship 2017 was held in Pirkanmaa on August 26th-27th, and the Berylline dogs to take part were Nora Ritala’s Kirppu (FI LC CH FCC-16 Berylline Suklaamuffinssi) and her dam Kerttu (CDW-14 Berylline Kermakaramelli). The field and the circumstances seem to have been optimal, for Kirppu won her second Finnish Coursing Championship with 502 points. Heartful of congratulations to owner Nora! Her dam Kerttu also had a godo set of runs and finished 4th in the finale with 444 points.

This was the fourth year in a row when the Finnish Championship is won by a dog bred by me: in 2014 it was Taikuri on track, in 2015 Taikuri in coursing, in 2016 Kirppu in coursing and now in 2016 Kirppu in coursing again:

For the photos in the collage above I thank Eija Lähdesmäki, Elina Lind and Kirsi Hietaharju!
