A couple months back it was time for Kumma to go – her heart condition deteriorated quickly. Little did I know that soon it would be Kinttu’s turn as well. At first I thought her apathy was because of her usual stomach problems, but since she didn’t get better in a few days’ time it was obvious there was something more serious with her. I took her to the vet where her diagnosis was slipped disk right in the middle of the back, at least in two vertebra but maybe even three. She was on pain meds for a week: first Rimadyl followed by Gabapentin and in the end even Tramal, but no impact. Kinttu was in so much pain that she was unable to move or eat, so I was left with no choice but to let her go as well. It all happened so fast that it’s still difficult to comprehend she’s not here, like she’s in a surgery and coming home any day. :(

Below a few photographic memories of my first IGs, also known as The Leg Duo back in the day.
